Second honest failure of the maiden lane, same species as the first:
the publish loop globbed tarballs only, so the msvc zip earned a
checksum and a metadata entry but never boarded the bucket - the CDN
answered 404 while everything around it said 200. The upload glob and
the content-type table learn about zips.
